60s group Manfred Mann are now considered, more than ever, one of the finest and most respected bands from that era. Their numerous pop hits were R&B based with an undercurrent of jazz - a very unusual but winning combination of playing style and substance! As a result, their records have a timeless quality and, some 53 years on, The Manfreds, with original ‘front man’ Paul Jones, will be performing their hits live at Lanark Memorial Hall! The evening will include a mix of Jazz and Blues songs as well as popular songs from their best-known albums.

Paul Jones, with his unique harmonica sound, will be joined by Mike Hugg on keyboards, Tom McGuinness on lead guitar, Rob Townsend on drums, Marcus Cliffe on bass guitar and Simon Currie on saxophone/ flute. Each member is an excellent musician in their own right and will provide a full evening of entertainment...with some solo work, and a few surprise renditions of The Manfreds classic songs!
