Lanarkians won’t have to walk 500 Miles to see one of Scotland’s most renowned bands as The Proclaimers are set to perform at Lanark Memorial Hall on Friday 22nd May.

All tickets are priced at £28.50 with standing room downstairs and seated tickets available upstairs.

After completing a two-year World tour 2013, Craig and Charlie Reid set aside the whole of last year to write their 10th studio album, Let’s Hear It For The Dogs, which will be released on Monday 27th April.

The duo have carved a niche for themselves where pop, folk, new wave and punk collide as the emotional honesty, political fire, wit and sing-along raucousness of their songs and their extensive touring has enlightened and entertained fans new and old.

The event takes place on the eve of the town’s Wallace Weekend with a wide range of activities for locals of all ages in the pipeline at New Lanark, Castlebank Park, the Tolbooth and the Memorial Hall.

Tickets can be purchased either in person at the Memorial Hall box office, via telephone on 01555 667 999 or online at
