The Hope Cafe are launching a mindfulness Course where proven benefits of mindfulness include more balanced mood, reductions in stress and a better sense of self. 

This course is running for six weeks from Wednesday 1st October and 10 places available on this course.

The Hope Cafe are proud to present an exhibition of unique art as part of Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival 2014 in The Tolbooth on Wednesday 15th October 2014 from 10am until 4pm. 

This display looks at how art and creativity can be a powerful way to express emotions and features art  and poetry from people across Lanarkshire. 

It also features a unique collection of fabric pieces created by one individual living with Dissociative Identity Disorder (http://www.mind.org.uk/information-support/types-of-mental-health-problems/dissociative-disorders/) and explains through art what it is like to live with this condition.  Some of the most amazing art you will see!
