The Westport B&B is located only a short walk from Lanark town centre and facilities.  We offer a friendly welcome, comfortable rooms and a great Scottish breakfast to start your day.

The Westport B&B lies on the edge of the town centre of historic Lanark which was made a royal burgh in 1140.  Lanark is the home of William Wallace (Braveheart) and has been a busy market town since medieval times.  The Westport  lies in a conservation area and, despite being on the main road, is both quiet and comfortable.

Three rooms are available: a single, a double and a family room.  All rooms are ensuite, have tea and coffee making facilities and a flat screen Freeview TV and DVD player.  Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. In addition, upon request an iron and hairdryer can be provided.

Private off-street parking is provided at the rear of the property (off Friar’s Lane).  Guests may use a lounge on the ground floor.  Here guests may serve themselves a premier coffee (Nescafé Dolce Gusto) and spend perhaps a quieter moment or two.

A full cooked Scottish breakfast is provided, however guests may select their own combination of items and the time of serving.  With some advanced notification, every attempt will be made to cater for different dietary needs.

Double and Family rooms are charged at £28 per person per night.
The Single room is charged at £35 for each night.
For single occupancy of the larger rooms a supplementary charge may apply.


Each room is ensuite.  All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities with Freeview TV and DVD player plus free Wi-Fi.  An iron and hairdryer are both available on request.

Off-street private parking is provided to the rear of the property (Off Friar’s Lane).
