The Boys' Brigade in Lanark meets every Wednesday evening in St Nicholas Church Hall.
They are split into three sections across the age ranges.
The Anchor Section meets between 6pm and 7pm and is aimed at boys aged between five and seven (Primary 1–3).
The Junior Section takes over from them and is on between 7.15pm and 8.30pm and is for boys aged between eight and 11 (Primary 4-7).
The Senior Section is also on at the same time and is for boys of Secondary School age.
Their aim is to provide boys in all the sections with an experience of life beyond what is possible in school or at home, whilst at the same time provide the opportunity for fellowship amongst the boys.
All the leaders are trained and subject to full Disclosure Scotland checks.
They hope that by giving the boys a programme of exciting events, fun and games and the opportunity to take part in external visits and community projects as well as exploring their faith, that the boys and young people can discover and develop their potential.
If you think that you’d like to take part in this exciting experience, then feel free to come along to the St Nicholas Church Hall; they would love to see you there!
