Border Biscuits heat up marketing awards with 'Famously Fiery' campaign
Border Biscuits’ Dark Chocolate Ginger 'Famously Fiery' campaign was recognised twice at The Marketing Society Scotland Star Awards last night with two Silver Awards - one for Food Marketing and one for Media.
The Silver Award for Food Marketing was won in conjunction with Guy & Co (https://guyco.co.uk/) who are the lead creative agency for Border and played an integral role in formulating the concept for the campaign before expertly implementing it into the design and creative that can ensured it caught the attention of everyone who saw it.
The Silver Award for Media was won in conjunction with The Lane Agency (https://thelaneagency.com/) who are the media buying agency for Border, leading on the media buying strategy and implementation for the Famously Fiery campaign.
The campaign, which ran between September 2019 and November 2019 brought into focus the famously fiery ginger flavour in Border’s Dark Chocolate Ginger biscuits which are the No.1 chocolate coated ginger biscuit in the UK. Overall the campaign ran across a variety of platforms from TV sponsorship to billboards, online advertising and targeted advertising immediately outside the retailers that stock the product. This was combined with PR and social media activity that ensured it was a fully integrated campaign.
