Valerios chips in to support local organisations on the COVID-19 front line

Local eatery, Valerios Fish and Chip Shop has offered support to local organisations working on the front line of the COVID-19 public health situation.

Stacey Neilson, Valerios owner said "Valerios chose to close until further notice to protect both staff and customers and so as not to encourage people to come out. As a result we had a lot of fresh food needing used up so thought it would be nice to do something for our drs, police, firefighters etc. So we contacted the police, fire brigade, drs surgery and Beechgrove care home and Crosslaw care home to see if they would like some fish suppers, bacon & sausage rolls etc. The offer was very gratefully received by all and everyone seemed to love the deliveries of hot food. It was also nice for us at Valerios to give a little back to those who are working hard during these awful times."

Lesley Moor at Woodstock Medical Practice commented "Thank you Valerios Lanark for your delivery to the Woodstock GPs just the pick me up we all needed ❤️❤️❤️ so kind."
