Morrisons delivers welcome support to local businesses
Morrisons Lanark Community Champion, Paula Caddell and staff from Lanark High Street Lloyds Pharmacy
The communtiy spirit in Lanark has rallied to provide support for individuals and businesses during COVID-19.
Morrisons Lanark have delivered care boxes to Crosslaw House care home, Beechgrove care home and to both Lloyds and Boots pharmacies. The boxes included sandwich platters, tea, coffee, milk and some cakes and biscuits to give the staff that are working hard a tea time treat.
Mark Kettles, Lanark Morrisons Store Manager said "We have been working round the clock to keep our store as full as possible for our customers. I know how hard the team here at Morrisons are working to help feed the nation which prompted me to think about the other key workers who are working in care homes and pharmacies in the local area, many of them also working round the clock to provide care and medicine at this time. The donation only took an hour to put together and deliver and hopefully helped bring some positive vibes to the teams who are working very hard."
