Entertainment will be provided by Leadhills Silver Pipe Band, who will be playing festive tunes in the Tolbooth Square throughout the day.
Scottish Equi Christmas Horse Parade with Santa - Route - Hynford Road, Bannatyne Street, High Street - 2pm
At 2pm, the fantastic Santa Horse Parade by Scottish Equi Centre will proceed down the High Street – a sight not to be missed! During the parade, we invite you to donate a small gift for a child to be passed on to local charities who support families in need at Christmas. You can hand in your gift to Santa who will be following the horses, or alternatively you can hand it into The Tolbooth.
The 'Festive Taste' event has been running since 2012, after being started by the Royal Burgh of Lanark Community Council, as a way of encouraging locals and visitors to shop in the town centre.
This event is part of the 'Lanark Winterfest Programme 2019' which includes over 40 festive events taking place in the town over November and December. Click here to view the full programme.
