Lanark has made the shortlist to be crowned the Most Beautiful High Street in Scotland with the winner being decided by an online public vote which is open until Sunday 1 October.
After receiving a range of entries, a judging panel of representatives from Scotland's Towns Partnership and Keep Scotland Beautiful have drawn up a shortlist of 10 finalists, which includes Lanark.
The Royal Burgh was put forward by the Lanark Community Development Trust, which has completed a range of projects to boost the High Street and town centre, including two interactive touch screens displaying a streamlined version of The Lanark Website.
The winner will be announced at Scotland's Towns Conference in Paisley on 21st November 2017.
