About the Role
Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a driven and ambitious NAE to join the team. This role will focus on supporting the National Account Managers (NAMs) with the day to day management of our larger customer accounts – Asda, Morrisons, Tesco, Sainsburys, the Co-operative and Nisa. This role is well suited for individuals who are keen to develop into a NAM within the food industry.
You will work with our NAMs to help to grow the business by providing the insight, running reports from each of the retailer portals which are used to facilitate business planning and forecasting. The role involves working closely with the wider sales and marketing team internally, whilst also supporting the day to day queries and requests from the retail buying teams - a strong customer focus and excellent communication skills is therefore required. The NAE will also be fundamental in supporting the new product launch process, and in doing so will represent the sales team at weekly meetings held internally to track the critical path to launch. You may be asked to attend store visits, mainly in Scotland, hence you will need to be prepared to travel on occasion.
You will have experience in a sales role within a food or FMCG Company, ideally in a branded environment. Previous experience of using retailer systems, such as MSD and Retail Link is desirable, but non-essential as full training would be provided. You will have excellent attention to detail and above all have a “can do” attitude.
