Around 2,000 people enjoyed LAMS' latest production

Lanark Amateur Musical Society (LAMS) performed to a record-breaking 2,000 strong audience over four sell-out performances of Sunshine on Leith at Lanark Memorial Hall, from 20-22 March 2025. The success of the production is a fitting tribute to the club’s 45th anniversary year in 2025. Sunshine on Leith is a jubilant, heartfelt musical about the power of home, the hearth, family and love featuring many well known songs by The Proclaimers including ‘I’m On My Way’, ‘Life With You’, ‘Sunshine On Leith’ & ‘I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)’. In March 2026, LAMS will be performing the hit Dolly Parton inspired musical ‘9 TO 5’ at Lanark Memorial Hall.
