The Tolbooth is a heritage centre and arts hub in the beautiful market town of Lanark. The Tolbooth has existed since the 14th century playing a vital role in the town's history. Today The Tolbooth is a modern flexible venue with a convenient central location in the bustling heart of the community where events, exhibitions, social functions and charity fundraisers can be held. The adaptable ground floor Gallery Room and historic Upper Meeting Hall are available to hire for a variety of events. The Tolbooth hosts a popular annual Christmas Shop full of unique work from local artists and crafters.
