Lanark is the 25th oldest Golf Club in the world! This circular walk starts at Lanark Golf Club car park and lasts just over 4km, taking you around the edge of the golf course, crossing the Lanark Train line and then proceeds either straight up a woodland path or through Caldwellside Industrial Estate. The return route takes you through another woodland path towards the former Smyllum Orphanage, before joining Whitelees Road to make the final return to Lanark Golf Club car park.
