New Lanark World Heritage Site has unveiled an end-of-summer weekend of fun for all the family, as it announces details of its ‘Inflatables Weekender’.
Taking place on the 26th and 27th August, visitors can enjoy walks in the historic mill village, soak up the scenery of the Falls of Clyde before taking on the giant inflatables assault course, full of obstacles and challenges where they will have to keep their balance to make it to the finish line.
There will also be a mini arena set up for games of pillow wars, where two people will come head to head to battle it out with giant Gladiators-style inflatable batons.
For younger kids, the Elephant and Dinosaur Bouncy Castles will provide plenty of fun and entertainment.
Each session costs £6 and lasts for 45 minutes, starting on the hour every hour between 9am and 5pm. Booking is not required. The assault course and pillow wars are aimed at those aged six and above.
The Inflatables Weekender is an ideal opportunity to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, located in the heart of Lanarkshire, under an hour from Glasgow and around 70 minutes from Edinburgh. With ample car parking, it is the perfect family day out.
