The Easter Holidays are almost here already! Whilst it might be a spring like no other, there are still stunning local landscapes and attractions to enjoy safely.
Lanark boasts a number of 'free to visit' outdoor attractions including: Langloch Farm, Lanark Loch, Falls of Clyde, Castlebank Park, Lanark Racecourse and New Lanark World Heritage Site.
For a longer walk amidst the stunning backdrop of the River Clyde, locals can appreciate a stroll through the beautiful buildings in the historic New Lanark before setting out along the tree lined Clyde Walkway to the spectacular Falls of Clyde. For a more peaceful waterside setting, a walk around Lanark Loch is ideal for adults and children alike.
Young explorers can enjoy the free 'Castlebank Carrot Quest' from 2nd - 18th April 2021 with 10 carrot 'spoons' hidden around Castlebank Park. Click here to download the free PDF trail.

Tolbooth Lanark will reopen on 26th April with a new exhibition, Close Encounters. Visitors will be able to see the original illustrations by Kirsten Harris, drawn specially for the newly installed information panels in the twelve closes, whilst Ronnie Cruwys will be exhibiting her new drawings depicting the rear of the closes.
