The popular outside seating area in Hyndford Place will be returning to Lanark town centre this summer.
Originally introduced by Discover Lanark to help welcome visitors back to Lanark safely and to support the town’s cafes and takeaways during the COVID-19 pandemic, the area has been well supported in the summers of 2020 and 2021 and has become a vibrant addition to the town’s public space.
Visitors are invited to pick up some tasty food and a non-alcoholic drink from any of the town’s cafes, eateries and takeaways, and enjoy a peaceful break in the great outdoors.
Antonia Pompa, Discover Lanark Manager said "The Space @ Hyndford Place has been a popular and valued addition to the town, bringing with it a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Summer means sunshine, sitting outside, meeting friends and enjoying a bite to eat and a long cool drink. We think that Hyndford Place, in the heart of the town centre, with its picnic tables and parasols, is a lovely spot to do just that.”
The Space @ Hyndford Place will operate from 20 June to 10 September.
