Lanark Universal Connections are holding a book inspired event to celebrate Book Week Scotland on Wednesday 17th November at 12pm to 4.30pm . This is a free event open to all - adults and families. Our event will include a FREE lunch with food inspired from books, sandwiches and unbirthday cakes and many other activities including a free raffle with many great prizes - book tokens, books and many more, a quiz, arts and crafts, book table for you to take away a book to get you reading. There will be Meet the Authors on the day with Darren McGarvey - Poverty Safari and Iain Yuill - Poems & Po-YUMS coming along to talk about their books and writing. It will be great to meet them.
