The Royal Academy of Dance examinations took place at 33 Hope Street, Lanark on Wednesday 20th March 2019.  The Examiner was Ms Emma Thompson, London.  The results listing follows:

Ballet:

Primary in Dance -   Distinction: Juliette Hare, Erin Purdon.  Merit – Jessica Gray.

Grade 1-  Distinction: Rosie Jardine, Eva Neilson, Hannah Sneddon.  Merit: Freya Adams, Iona Hynds, Kara McIlvaney.

Grade 2 – Merit: Alexandra Anderson, Lizzie Banks, Aoife Hall, Katie Hynds.

Grade 3 -  Distinction:   Amelia Barton, Katie Semple .  Merit: Emma Barr, Kara Ferguson,  Orla Quinlan. 

Grade 4  - Distinction: Elizabeth Leggate, Emma McCafferty.  Merit: Emily Jardine.

All children attained credits towards High School qualifications.

 

Highland:

Strathclyde Championships held in High School, Shotts on Saturday 1st June 2019.  Congratulations to Emma McCafferty on winning her Pre-Championship in 12yrs and Under 14yrs section.

Amelia Barton won her 2nd Open Championship in the 12yrs and under 14yrs section.
