Two swimmers enjoyed medal success when they represented Lanark ASC at the West District Junior Age Group Championships in Cumbernauld.

Eleven-year-old Millie McArthur won the 400m IM and was second in the 200m IM and third in both the 200m backstroke and 100m breaststroke.

Euan McLeod, competing in the 12-year-old boys age group, won two silver medals in the 100m butterfly and 200m butterfly.

Ellarose Stewart and Sandy Barr posted personal best times.

After the meet coach Karen Kelly said: “Well done to both Millie and Euan. It was pleasing to see club swimmers swim well at Junior District level.”
