Don't miss your chance to enter picture perfect competition at Castlebank Park

The winning photographs will be on display at Castlebank Horticultural Centre

Lanark Community Development Trust is on the lookout for the best photographs of Castlebank Park, with a new competition underway to brighten up the walls of Castlebank Horticultural Centre.

Entrants may submit up to three photographs that capture one or all of the Development Trust’s chosen themes; the changing seasons, woodland and wildlife and plants and horticulture.

The competition is open from Thursday 13 September until Friday 12 October.

Submitted photography must be the entrant’s original, unpublished work which does not breach anyone else’s copyright. Work that has already been sold to another party cannot be submitted.

The winners will be chosen by a voting panel of judges ahead of a presentation day at the Horticultural Centre.

Entrants must email their photographs to and also include their name, age, hometown and name of the photograph, if relevant.

Any entrants younger than 16 must supplement their entry with written permission from their parent of guardian confirming their agreement with the competition terms and conditions.
