This year’s Winterfest has been bigger, brighter and merrier than before with a wide range of events taking place in the town centre ahead of Christmas.
The Winterfest has been created by the Lanark Community Development Trust to promote the town during the festive period and help to facilitate new initiatives.
The Christmas trees project has added a touch of sparkle to the town centre and the launch of the two touch screens has allowed locals and visitors to discover the wide range of events taking place with just a few clicks.
From the traditional Christmas Market to the new illuminated Lanimer Parade, the Winterfest celebrates the eclectic mix of events taking place in the town during the festive period.
Several organisations have worked closely with the Lanark Community Development Trust to deliver the Winterfest and it is hoped that the initiative will continue for many years to come.
